Not much today

We all seem to be having woes lately. Lots of things happening in our lives, today I am no exception. My husband has gone into hospital so have not been able to blog, instead I am posting a picture of Lake Windermere on a late Spring day. Like us, it is not always so sad and misty, somedays it is blooming beautiful.

Margaret, what a gorgeous photograph! Thanks so much for sharing it with us. Wonderfully evocative.

I am so so sorry to hear that John is in the hospital. Please know you are both in my thoughts and prayers. Sending big hugs your way.

Beautiful picture, so peaceful. What's that surfacing in the water? The equivalent of old Nessy?

I hope your hubby will recover quickly. Don't forget to take care of yourself, too. People don't realize until they're going through it that having a family member sick and in the hospital takes a toll on us, too.

Oh, Debbie you are so right, no one asks about the carer, unfortunately, and carers get the sticky end of the lollopop as the lovely Marilyn Monroe once said!

No not Nessy, wrong place - it is actually the boat that takes people on trips along the lovely lake windermere.

Thank you ladies for all your support.
