Count Me In

News from the Leone household!

Last night Hubby asked if I wanted to take a vacation this summer. Anywhere. Anytime. For as long as I wanted, he said.

Can you guess how fast I ran to be first in line for this wonderful, exciting, rejuvenating, unexpected offer? Yeah, you guess right. There was a whoosh of wind as I ran for my luggage!

We had no plans for vacationing, so this is a real surprise. A very welcome surprise, at that. I still have no idea where we'll be going, or when, but that hardly seems to matter. We're going, and, for now, that's all that's important.

What about you? Any exciting summer plans you'd care to share?

I hope you have a lovely weekend!

That is great. Vacations are great rejunevators. My one big vacation trip this year is a 5-day cruise to the Caribbean.

Have a great weekend!

YOU have to let us know where you decide to you. I envy you, I really feel like a break.
If life is as smooth as it is at the moment October will find me Tampa bound.

How exciting! Part of the fun will be chosing where to go.
We are hoping to visit family in New York State this summer

Hi Sarita! I'm a reader of your Freedom's Touch book and see I have more to catch up with you!!!

I haven't had a vacation since our 5th wedding anniversary and next month is our 26th! And that one we had on our 5th was a few days and within the same state, so I'd really love to go on one some day!

Love to hear what you decide. I don't have any experience to suggest any tho!

Have a great mom's day all!

Before our 15th anniversary, I told my husband that if he didn't take me for a honeymoon, finally after 15 years, I'd divorce him and marry someone who would. On the day of our 15th anniversary, he woke me up at 5 a.m. with my bags packed. He said, "All you have to do is get in the truck. That's all you need to do."
He took me on a romantic long weekend to a beautiful historical fort and a couple of archeological dig spots--my favorite. It was our best vacation together.
